Prashar Lake Trek
Prashar Lake (2,730m), frozen in the winter and a dazzling beauty otherwise, is considered one of the many jewels of Himachal Pradesh. Located within accessible distance from Mandi city, this lake and its surrounding trails are attractive to many a tourist.
The weekend trek to Prashar Lake follows a charming trail through a forest and several rivulets. Meanwhile, one can enjoy the local culture as the trail goes through small villages as well. The trek offers a 360 degree view of the Dhauladhar, Pir Pinjal and Kinnaur mountain ranges.
Our aim is to introduce the traveller to amazing experiences and help foster the local community and therefore the entire experience has been curated in collaboration with locals from nearby villages. Your local guide will take you through the best of trails!
Note :Min 4 Persons should be for the Trek otherwise for less than 4 people on weekdays Rs 2500 per head will be the cost of the trek

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 -Start our trek from the Base Camp Mandi at 09:00 AM and move towards Triund via Baggi through mixed forests of deodar. Prashar is situated at 2730 m, is an easy 5 - 6 hours 9 Kms of trek and the summit offers stunning 360 degree views of the mighty Dhauladhar Himalayas , Pir Panjal Ranges and the entire Kullu Valley. Dinner and Overnight Camping and stay in tents at Prashar.
Day 2 -After viewing the early morning sunrise from the Prashar Hilltop, we will have tea and breakfast at our camps in Prashar. We will check out from our Camps at Prashar and start heading back downhill to the Base Camp Mandi.
